Bought the 2-pack for my patio tomatoes back in April. They went together pretty easily, though I've had to pop the trellis bars back into place a few times. They are a great weight—easy to slide around but won't blow over in the wind (and it gets super windy here). My tomatoes are thriving. We've had so much rain I haven't even needed the self-watering feature yet, but it's nice to have. Really happy with these and expect them to last a few seasons.
The planter itself looks great, BUT NEITHER OF THE ONES I BOUGHT CAME WITH THE WATER RESERVOIR TRAY. I'm just going to throw some rocks in the bottom for drainage instead, but it's super disappointing because it's otherwise a nice product.
This kit literally has everything you need except the dirt and the seeds. If you don't have yard space but want fresh tomatoes, get this. The bottom reservoir makes watering foolproof. My plants are climbing the trellis perfectly and keeping the fruit off the ground.
Got these for my grape tomatoes. They were super easy to snap together and sit out on my screened-in pool deck. The only issue is that if the wind catches them just right, the trellis poles can pop out of the slots. The bottom-watering feature is amazing, though—my plants seem to love it. All in all, I really like them and would order them again.
Putting this self-watering planter together was a breeze, and it looks way better in real life than the pictures. The sleek, tall design really elevates the look of my patio without eating up too much space. Assembly was literally just a few minutes, and all the parts locked in perfectly. Once it's put together, it feels super solid, and the water reservoir is a game-changer so I don't have to water it every single day. I loved that it came with extra clips and tie wire for vining plants—super handy! It’s light enough to move around when it's empty but heavy enough to hold its ground. The dark color gives it a really clean, modern vibe that fits right in. Bottom line: it's a great looking, highly functional planter that's totally worth the money. Perfect for tomatoes or climbing flowers. I'd definitely buy more to match.
